The club organises a variety of regular events, as well as events on an ad hoc basis including government briefings, field trips to various locales in Taiwan, meetings with visiting dignitaries and more.

The club also acts to promote the interests of and speak on behalf of the correspondent community in Taiwan.

Regular monthly activities include:

• Executive Tea
  The TFCC invites key business leaders in Taiwan to sit down over tea to discuss the important topics of the day. Executive Tea brings the movers and shakers of Taiwan together with the club in a dialogue and gives TFCC members a chance to pick their brains about questions that matter to the foreign media.

• VIP Briefing
  VIP Briefings call on specialists from a variety of fields, government officials and leaders from society and the arts to provide unique insight and analysis on pertinent topics of the day.

• TFCC Happy Hour
  A purely social event, TFCC Happy Hour brings club members and visiting friends together at a different pub or restaurant in Taipei each month. Generally held on the evening of the first Thursday of the month with specials on drinks and free finger food, Happy Hour gives members a chance to meet in a relaxing atmosphere and engage in lively conversation.

Regular annual activities include:

• TFCC Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  Held in the first quarter each year, the AGM gives members the opportunity to address issues important to the club, make amendments to the club’s charter and elect members to the steering committee.

• TFCC Christmas Party
  The club’s largest social activity of the year, the Christmas Party brings together club members, their families and friends with a banquet of food, live band, prize giveaways and a visit by Santa Claus for the kids.
